Stringline is typically used to provide horizontal alignment and vertical elevation for the curb, utilizing arms mounted on the curb mold side of the machine. These arms have sensors, that run on the stringline that guide the machine's steering and ensure the curb mold is poured to the design elevation.

While stringline is commonly used for this application, it is labor-intensive. Crew members must install curb pins every few meters on curves and every 10 meters on straight stretches. Accurate placement and height are crucial to ensure the curb is poured to the design elevation, typically achieved using survey hubs installed prior to work commencing on site.

There have been numerous instances of injuries resulting from this method, including wrist pain from pounding pins with a sledgehammer, accidental injuries from missing pins, and trips caused by stringline. Our stringless technology not only eliminates these hazards but also increases production efficiency by eliminating the need to install stringline.

This specific project is for our valued client, Regehr Contracting Ltd., this site is located at 208th St and 76th Ave. It involves concrete, milling, and paving roadworks package for a multi-lot subdivision currently being serviced and prepared by Regehr Contracting.
