Adding 70% more silo storage will ensure that we are able to supply up to 5 different mixes at the same time during busy days while allowing us to meet our high production requirements on major projects that we serve.
After five years of success, running the asphalt plant for our major projects and building our FOB customer sales, it is time to upgrade and optimize our plant and yard to better serve our customers and internal projects. This winter we are adding two asphalt silos and increasing our asphalt oil storage.
Working 24 hours a day, seven days a week has its advantages, allowing our customers the option of picking up asphalt at any time. However, on those busy days in the season we often find that customers and our internal demands align, creating challenges to keep short cycle times at the plant and to ensure that internal and external customers have access to the correct asphalt mixes.
As All Roads' business expands, we recognized the need to expand in order to continue to meet the excellent standard of service our customers accustomed to expect. Adding 70% more silo storage will ensure that we are able to supply up to 5 different mixes at the same time during busy days while allowing us to meet our high production requirements on major projects that we serve. Additionally, All Roads is doubling our liquid asphalt storage which will allow us to service all our traditional asphalt projects and customers at the same time we are servicing the Ministry of Transportation, Marine Port and Airport Projects, which often have specialized liquid binders, such as polymer modified, and stiffer asphalt binders.
Stay tuned for the completion of this project and look forward to quicker cycle times at our plant!
